Thomas Hammond

Executive Director / CEO, Georgia Baptist Mission Board

W. Thomas Hammond, Jr., is an esteemed speaker and the Executive Director/CEO of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board since January 1, 2019. Prior to this role, he served as the lead pastor of Alpharetta First Baptist Church from 2013-2018, during which the church achieved significant growth and community impact. With a strong focus on evangelism, Rev. Hammond led Alpharetta First Baptist to baptize over 250 people and initiated various outreach programs. His extensive experience includes leadership roles at the SBC Executive Committee, North American Mission Board, and Metrolina Baptist Association. Additionally, he has served as president of the Georgia Baptist Convention, a trustee at multiple institutions, and a chaplain for the Alpharetta police and fire departments. Rev. Hammond holds a degree in Business Administration from Augusta State University and a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Married to Kerri Russ Hammond, they have two daughters, Katie Elisabeth and Karley Marie.

Senior Pastor, North Jacksonville Baptist Church

Pastor Herb Reavis has served for 31 years as the Senior Pastor of North Jacksonville Baptist Church in Jacksonville Florida. He is a graduate of The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago where he majored in evangelism. He and his wife Lisa have three married sons and nine grandchildren.

Dr. Robert Smith, Jr.

Chair of Divinity, Beeson Divinity School

(Ph.D., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Doctor of Sacred Theology (STD, Honorary Doctorate), Temple Community Bible College, Cincinnati, OH; (2009) Doctor of Divinity Honoris Causa, Newburgh Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana; serves as Professor of Christian Preaching and holds the Charles T. Carter Baptist Chair of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School. Previously he served as the Carl E. Bates Associate Professor of Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Smith is the 2017 E. K. Bailey Expository Preaching Conference Living Legend and has been chosen to receive the Legacy Legend Award by Truett Seminary of Baylor University on September 28, 2022. A popular teacher and preacher, he received Southern’s 1996 Findley B. Edge Award for Teaching Excellence.

Lead Pastor, Great Hills Baptist Church, Austin, TX

Dr. Danny Forshee serves as the Lead Pastor at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin, Texas, and is the President of the Danny Forshee Evangelistic Association based in Austin. Danny holds a Ph.D. degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a Professor of Evangelism at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Pastor, Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church

H.B. Charles is the Pastor and Teacher at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida, where he has served since 2008. He is primarily responsible for preaching-teaching, vision casting, and leadership development. Outside of his ministry with his congregation, he regularly speaks and teaches at churches, conferences, and conventions around the country. He has contributed to several books and journals. Pastor Charles is the author of It Happens After Prayer, On Preaching, On Praying, On Worship, The Difference Jesus Makes, Getting Right With God, and Reaching God's Goals for Your Life. Pastor Charles and his wife, Crystal, have 3 children: H.B. III, Natalie, and Hailey.

Dr. Mark Hearn

Senior Pastor, FBC Duluth, GA

Mark Hearn has been a pastor for more than forty years. Since 2010, he has served as the senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Duluth, Georgia, located in the 6th most diverse county in America. In 2017 he wrote the book, Technicolor, telling how his church transformed from a monolithic Anglo-American congregation to a cross-cultural community with members from now fifty-three different countries. A follow-up book, Hearing in Technicolor: Mindset Shifts within a Multicultural Congregation, was published in 2021. Pastor Mark also serves as Coaching Director for Homogeneous Church Transition with the Mosaix Global Network. Mark and his wife Glenda are the parents of four grown daughters and are proud grandparents.
